Representing Lebanese modern and contemporary art, Galerie Janine Rubeiz finds its roots in the important heritage of “Dar El Fan”, the multi-cultural and art platform founded and run by Janine Rubeiz, from 1967 until she passed away in 1992.The Galerie Janine Rubeiz, established by her daughter Nadine Begdache in 1993, has built an important international network of museums, institutions, public and private collections through its participation in regional and international art fairs.  Marking the difference with its historical presentation of generations of Lebanese artists, established and emerging, the Galerie Janine Rubeiz continues to support outstanding art with its exhibition programming at its newly renovated space near Raouche. Galerie Janine Rubeiz has constantly strived to consolidate Lebanon’s position on the art and cultural scene by organizing and managing retrospectives, publishing artists’ catalogues and books. The collection of Galerie Janine Rubeiz includes over 900 artworks covering a historical stretch of Lebanese art.
