Delphine Diaw Diallo graduated from Académie Charpentier School of Visual Art, Paris and currently lives in New York. The French Senegalese artist takes a mixed medium approach to photography thereby juxtaposing tradition with modernity. In 2012, the Smithsonian named her among Photography’s Emerging Stars. Her clients and press include the New York Times, The New Yorker, Esquire, Nike, Converse, Anomaly and WAD magazine. In 2015 she participated in the Cardiff Photo Biennale and Photoquai Paris and she has previously exhibited at The Studio Museum in Harlem, Museum of Art & Design, MoCADA NYC, Goethe-Institut Dakar & Mariane Ibrahim Abdi Gallery Seattle.
