Javier Viver

Spain, Madrid Camara Oscura Galeria de Arte

Javier Viver (ES, 1971) is a religious imagery maker, a job deeply rooted in the tradition in Spain. Perhaps this is why his work can be understood as the conceptual development of this tradition and its relation to contemporary iconoclastic discourse. He employs, with great degree of freedom, different artistic disciplines such as drawing, design, photography, sculpture or photobook editing with which he composes universal stories, between the documentary and the fiction.
